Craig Boldman is a longtime creator for the Archie Comics, known best for his more than 100-issue run on the Jughead comic, and for two decades of the Archie syndicated comic strip.
Most recently, he is the illustrator of “Search for Spock – A Star Trek Book of Exploration (A Highly Illogical Parody)”.
Craig’s latest and greatest original comic creation is the humor thriller, ‘Talipoe’, about which Mark Waid says, “Charming and funny and clever, yes – but with heart, genuine heart, which makes it a cut above. Highly recommended.” Craig is also currently collaborating with Tim Fuller on the humor-adventure series, Cap’n Catnip.

Did you know that Craig’s first comic book credits were as writer of Superman stories? He has also been a writer and/or penciler and/or inker on such titles as, ‘Mazing man, Bugs Bunny, Disney’s Doug, Disney’s Recess, Ed Edd & Eddy, Bazooka Joe, Big Boy, and many others!
Craig served as the chairperson of the Great Lakes chapter of the National Cartoonist Society from 2006 – 2011.
Darryl Banks is an American comic book artist. He worked on one of the first painted comic books, Cyberpunk, and teamed with the writer Mark Ellis to revamp the long-running, The Justice Machine series for two publishers, Innovation and Millennium.
He always loved art but decided in high school that he wanted to pursue a career in comics. Banks Studied at the Columbus College of Art & Design in Columbus, Ohio.
After Banks graduated from college, he sent copious samples of his art to DC Comics and Marvel Comics and went to comic conventions to show his work to publishers. Following the advice of his friends, he began sending samples to smaller, independent companies. Eventually, Innovation Publishing offered him his first job: a two-part Cyberpunk story, followed by a run on Justice Machine.
At Millennium, Banks produced a three-issue mini-series based on The Wild Wild West TV series and a comic adaptation of Doc Savage with The Monarch of Armageddon.
Banks then went to work for DC Comics, illustrating Legion of Super-Heroes. He then became the penciler on Green Lantern (Vol.3), which ran from issue 50 to 142. Along with co-creating Kyle Rayner, he is responsible for designing costumes for Parallax, Grayven, Fatality, Dr. Polaris, and Dr. Light.
Freestyle Komics (FSK) is an independent comic book label and publisher founded in 1999 by creator Michael Watson based out of Columbus, Ohio. FSK’s first developed comic book title was HOTSHOT. After multiple drafts and iterations, HOTSHOT #1 (written & lettered by Victor Dandridge Jr., penciled by Michael Watson and originally digitally inked & colored by David Brame) was first self published by FSK in July 2006. FSK continued to develop and produce its library of self own comic book IP’s including Vigilance, Heroes International, Cypher, Emerald Quest and the Zero Event. In 2021, FSK amicably split from indie comic book publisher Short Fuse Media, LLC returning to self publishing all owned IP properties. In December 2021, FSK formally announced they had acquired publishing rights of several independent comic book IP’s with first release slated for January 2022.
Michael Watson is a comic book artist, creator, and CCAD alum (illustration 2004)! Watson is the founder of Freestyle Komics, a Columbus-based independent comic book label and publisher. His love and enthusiasm for making comics has branded him MostEPIC, The Most Enthusiastic Person in Comics!
Tony Klapper is a comic book writer and creator currently published under Freestyle Komics. Klapper was born and raised in Middletown, Ohio.
In 2017, he self-published his first comic book FiveStar. In 2022, Klapper signed with Freestyle Komics and Fivestar was then renamed Kevin Terry is Fivestar under its publication.
Tony Klapper goes by the alias Mr. FiveStar on social media and is co-host of two podcasts, FiveStar Fridays and What The Fig. Both are part of the Agents of Geekdom Network.

Adam Fields is the owner and lead illustrator / graphic designer of Midnight27 Studios out of Austintown, Ohio and best known as the creator and artist of the hit comic book series, PROWL & BLUE COAT MISSIONARY. Alongside of being a self-published creator, he’s provided art for multiple MARVEL sketch card sets by UPPER DECK along with covers and sequential art for various titles such as ROADKILL RAMPAGE, POINT OF AUTHORITY: FAMILY TIES, SCREENBOY, SCALES, INK, LEAVE ON THE LIGHT, BLACKJAQ, INDIE WARS, THE LISTENER, DO YOU POOH and multiple of Erica Elaine and Marcus Calvert’s novels.
